Nicknames if Flemings, Peat, and Cenac Sign with UH

Along with Harwell, that would make 4 top 20 recruits, which blows every UH basketball recruiting class away. Just for fun, here would be some nicknames for the freshman class.

Fearsome Foursome?
The Fab Four?
The One and Dones?
Thunder and Lightning?

The Freshmen who are surprised by how pissy and disagreeable Kelvin Sampson can be but find out that he is telling them the truth and your dumb azz isn’t ready for the Association because you have too many flaws in your game.

Grant you that could be shortened.

The staff thinks they are in good position on Flemings - from what I’ve been told, I think it’s going to happen. Peat is a wild card - haven’t gotten a good read in his situation - and Cenac is almost assuredly going to LSU.

NIL is a consideration but not the driving force for Flemings or (apparently) Peat. But even if UH strikes out with all three, Harwell is a massive, massive get.

I wouldn’t worry about a nickname for the foursome.

I might pay money to see one of y’all ask Sampson about nicknames for potential incoming freshmen in an interview.

Fresh Fish?

None of the nicknames will be as good as our current big nan rotation nickname… The Triple Js!!!

Yes… I’m on a mission to make that stick… :sunglasses:

Did Harwell sign today?

Not yet

Sampson often likes to give the players their day. Thinking Flemings announces tomorrow and Harwell is announced on Friday.

It’s like Christmas when you have to schedule time with friends, family, in-laws, and step-parents over the course of a couple of days but with (hopefully) much better gifts. :slightly_smiling_face:
