Baylor’s shooting is mind-boggling. Five rotation players who are shooting better than 40% from three and a sixth shooting 39%. Trying to develop a defensive gameplan against that is a nightmare.

im not saying who is better or worse… but i feel we can compete with baylor
texas tech is the 1st team they played with legitimate defense all year, and their production drastically reduced… i think we can defend them, they are like us in that their bigs dont score much…every guard they have hit shots at high percentage, but none of them are agile of really shifty with the handles…we are one of the best teams in the nation at defending the 3… the issue is “would we be able to score on baylor?” …but we might win in a low scoring affair
gonzaga is different, as we would likely need atleast 80pts to beat the zags, we havent done that against a non mid-major all season …we have to improve before we are on the same court as the zags

Agreed for us to compete against Gonzaga we have to be at a different level offensively. I see lot better offensive performance today.
Gonzaga would have their hands full if they played us in Fertitta center

Turned on Memphis @ Tulsa on the + and noticed they have Tulsa as a sub .500 record overall and in conference. Nice work ESPN

I have to say I’m surprised its been this bad. They just can’t win tight games.
And one announcer kept saying something like “Call Jones” instead of Quinones. And lester prolly played 30 minutes so he said it over and over.

memphis will never implode as long as he recruit well… the offseason in the spring of everlasting optimism when you are recruiting well…they has 3 elite recruits for 2021 signed…and a 5star committed in 2022
