Non-UH programs that you are a fan of (t-shirt fan)?

Auburn (Tigers) - my Alma mater

Central Missouri (Fighting Mules) - where I met Willie 30 years ago

Tennessee (Volunteers) - taught Army ROTC there and two of my Sons graduated from Tennessee

Tulane (Green Wave) - because Willie put them back on the map and they’ve stayed there

Army (Black Knights) - because I am retired from the Army

LSU (Tigers) - because my wife is from there and roots for them

I like Texas football. I don’t root for them but I watch them.

Roughly, yeah. Auburn and Georgia are about equidistant from Atlanta, so I like to pretend that the school is in Far East GA, because I would personally rather not be affiliated with the state of Alabama.

You can still find it in multiple places. Mr. Moran is the one that told me to buy it over 10/12 years ago. May Mr. Moran R.I.P.

Lamar (both parents)
A&M (PhD)

Me, my mom, and dad went to UH.

But I have two.

Tennessee - I have an aunt, uncle, and 4 cousins on my dad’s side who went to and currently attend school at Tennessee. Lots of family in Knoxville and visit often. Have been to a handful of games at Neyland in my life.

Wake Forest - crazy I know. My sister went there. Her freshman year in 2006 they won the ACC for the first time ever and I got to go to the Orange bowl with her and stand in the student section. Supporter of the Deacs for life now.

I had a brother who went to A&M but I just hope they beat Texas. Had another brother go to Sam Houston for criminal justice (but he’s a big Coog fan)

University of Montana Grizzlies. I used to live in Montana.
University of Nevada. Blame the wife. She’s a grad as well as 2 nieces.
Utah State Blame 4 relatives that all graduated from there.
Texas Tech University. Blame the brother
Texas ATM. Blame the other brother.
Boise State… Blame some of my associates.
University of Southern California I used to live in LA when USC stomped everybody.

Hell will freeze over completely before I ever cheer for the cows.

Georgia Tech,
I went to high school in a small town outside of Atlanta. Not much to do on a Saturday night, so I would go to The Varsity with friends which is across the freeway from Tech to hang out. Open 24 hours and was a cool place. Also like USF for no particular reason.

I RARELY see WF fans here in the triangle…

Working and living in Huntsville, I eventually became a Sam fan.

You can thank my sister. She had scholarships to UH, UT, Tulane. But oh no, she just couldn’t go to college in the South hahaha.

Where are you from? My dad lived in Douglasville from the time he was 8-17 before they moved to Houston

Last I heard, Wake Forest, North Carolina is in the south.

yes, Rez, I have Iowa grads in the family… I must admit, you 'Clones have grown on me.

I have always cheered for the Aggies as long as they werent playing Houston. So i am always disappointed when they never do as good as hoped…
