Early signing day has really changed recruiting.
We’ll only have a handful of guys sign today. The vast majority signed in December.
What ever happened to Muhammad the TE transfer from Michigan?
Did Friloux cool off on us or we did on him? I thought he signed or was signing?
Friloux backed off when we signed the JUCO All-American DT Sedrick Williams from Kilgore.

He signed with Tulane.
I just wish we had signed the kicker. He looked good in the videos.

Signing day used to be like christmas morning. It was awesome with events based around it and suspense that helped us trudge through January as fans. Now it is pretty darn anti climatic and just another of the 180 something days between bowls and the first game. This day used to help us cope!!!

Wouldn’t see the field for 2-3 years
Signing Day went as expected with A&M, UT & OU all finishing with Top 10 recruiting classes, per usual.
UofH finished ranked #81 with 15 - 3 Stars.
I did not see UT in the top 10
Look again! Texas is Ranked #9 this year, #3 (2019), #3 (2018), #7 (2016), #10 (2015).

So the 2017 class is the cause of Herman’s troubles.

Not really. UT had a Top 25 recruiting class in 2017. This was the class that he poached UofH for guys that subsequently barely saw the field in Austin. Herman’s problem is defense, trying to run a spread option with a pocket passer, entitlement and not being “goliath”.
