Official CBB MarchMadness Tourney 2025 Brackets

They said he sprained his ankle, the x-ray didn’t show a break. Sometimes ankle sprains will heal in 3 to 5 days. Sometimes it take weeks. Remember how long Kyle Tucker was out of action with a bone bruise last summer for the Astros. Not every ankle sprain is the same and not every person heals the same.

…and how many has he had before? Hopefully he has not had too many. Me and many others have had 1k’s of ankle sprains. Something tells me he is much more injured than what is being reported. Hope the best for him.

Just a concise quick view on every team. It’s not in-depth but it’s a headlines intro to each team in the field. I like it.

this is shorter and better

ummm…Kyle Tucker’s ‘recovery’ time had little to do with his injury actually taking longer to heal.

Maybe posted already.

ESPN “experts” gave their Final Four and Champion predictions.

Corey Williams

Iowa St. - South
Arizona - East
Houston - Midwest
Texas Tech - West

That would be nuts….of course he has to be forgiven for having Arizona win it all.

Haha, I guess he likes the Big 12 then. I can’t see it but maybe that’s because I watched us steamroll the Big 12 this season

That’s a “homer” bracket if I ever saw one.

as long as the madness doesn’t fall on you!

Pretty sure he played at Arizona if it’s who I’m thinking of.

Do we have a coogfans bracket pool?

Lot of that going around…:rofl::rofl:

Yes… I prefer to be a homer… but also the Big 12 is loaded and battle tested…

And I gave ISU some homer love because I like y’all… but also think you guys can get there if the team addresses some of the concerns you’ve listed about not being lackadaisical, playing the right players and limiting turnovers.

I love your vote of confidence, Kyle but Im not so optimistic.

I’d have a rosier outlook if Otz hasn’t maintained some poor tendencies throughout his tenure. Notably he developes bizarre affinities for untalented players, playing them too much and/or playing them over better options. The last two years it was Robert Jones (over Osun Osuniyi and Hasan Ward), and this year its Chatfield and Kelderman. Kelderman might be the worst of them as hes simply not capable of being anything other than a liability against top level comp. You bring the ball up the floor by committee (if need be) and play Watson 20 plus minutes a game.

Hes just not very good at addressing problems if and when they arise. The lack of accountability throughout the year has led to Jones and Milan playing habitually lazy defense (both are capable of being better). When Milan is struggling offensively he never gets pulled for Watson, who contributes even when hes not scoring.

Ive been waiting for Otz to demonstrate an abiltiy to “steal” games with heady rotations, savvy strategy decisions, and well placed TOs. When those situations have presented, like the Arizona game in Tucson, hes failed. I think its hard to go deep in the tournament when the other side has bigger brains. Eventually he will get outmaneuvered.

Something that couod play a factor is the team rallying behind Gilbert. Im hoping they play hard for him and jt leads to the defensive effort and intensity we are capable of. If we limit dumb TOs, rebound, and have Milan show uo offensively we have a chance.

In the limited views I’ve had of Chatfield he didn’t seem like a bad role player…
