Omicron

How do you know that "patients with a slight fever or no symptoms at all heading to hospitals ". Please share the stats of the people that are really doing that. Personally I know of nobody that has done that. People have gone to testing sites to get a test.

It sounded good. :face_with_hand_over_mouth::grimacing:

The news has relayed this information many times.
Here is brief synopsis, there are false positives in the tests, tests can detect remnants of a past infection that have yet completely left the body but not contagious, and yes reinfection is possible.

Chris was probably just watching fox news from his phone while in Europe.

Chris,
Please check latest TMC stats on hospitalizations and mortality. It is still over
9% mortality for those that have been hospitalized with covid. We would expect these numbers to
be falling with omicron and “people with mild fevers or no symptoms” being in hospitals. But the numbers don’t show that yet. Hopefully the hospitalized mortality rate will start falling significantly
with omicron, and that will be good.

9,733 / 107,692 = 9.04% Hospitalized Mortality at TMC.
