How many shutouts and <100 yds do we need to break the record?
Fritz should of fired Barbay at the press conference.
We had more penalty yards than passing yards.
And you would win that bet.
As much as some of us desire to focus our wrath on the OC, our teamâs offensive ineptitude is not the OCâs fault. Itâs the players. The errors they make (some of which are whoppers) are their own fault and their position coachâs fault, if the player keeps making the same mistake as the season moves on.
As much as I hate to say it, many of our players, most of who have never played here before, just arenât very good at football right now. As the late and great Toby Keith would say, âThatâs just the cold hard truth.â
I am of the thought that we have multiple guys especially on the oline that just arenât good enough to be starting on a P4 team.
I can think of 2 but the other 3 were consensus 4 stars.
It is not on the OC, the picks, fumbles and penalties are on the players. We moved the ball well, and the wild cat worked. The slants worked, it seemed every big play had a penalty. Help is on the way when our freshman QB gets here. Just hope he is as good as SMUâs freshman that torched Florida State.
Thatâs not a sign of good coaching. Team discipline comes from the top.
Itâs the HC, OC and QB coachâs job to make sure the cupboard isnât bare at QB. All three have failed there miserably. They deserve criticism here.
It will take a lot more shutouts to get CWF fired after the season. Heâs practically guaranteed to be back.
OC and QB coach got to have trouble sleeping. It will take a miracle type offensive turnaround for them to come back next year
You canât field a team incapable of scoring a single point and put the blame on the players exclusively. I knew we would be bad. I didnât expect this, though.
