This is what I am hoping for. A very slow first half from OU gets us an early lead that we are able to hold until the end for the win. Then, OU gels and goes undefeated the rest of the season.

Hate to see it happen to any kid. Will be a huge loss for the Sooners as he was considered to be one of the top CBs in the Big 12.

Fortunately for OU, they have multiple 4 and 5 star guys ready to step in.
Iâll be honest, I only saw one 45 on each end of the bar. Even on my worst day I could sleep walk through squatting 135.

That sucks. Hopefully he can rehab and come back strong. I guess the only bright side is that it happened before the season so he can get a medical redshirt.

First, it means the Sooners have lost one of their most experienced defensive backs. Just one OU DB â Parnell Motley â has more career starts than Norwood. Second, it means sophomore Bookie Radley-Hiles is a near-certainty to be the Soonersâ starting nickelback when the 2019 season opens Sept. 1 against Houston.
Radley-Hiles started 11 games last season but struggled. He raised eyebrows with a tweet a few days after defensive coordinator Mike Stoopsâ firing. He hurt himself laying a big hit on a Kansas State receiver, an injury that kept him out for a game. Then, in the Soonersâ 59-56 win at West Virginia in the regular-season finale, his struggle were such that coaches pulled him in the third quarter. He then didnât start the Big 12 title game or the Orange Bowl.
Radley-Hiles was one of the most ballyhooed Oklahoma defensive signees in years. A national top-40 prospect in the 2018 signing class, he drew preseason 2018 comparisons to Roy Williams. Those pie-in-the-sky expectations were, in hindsight, absurd and unfair to Radley-Hiles.

If he was the slot CB, that means he would be matched up on Stevenson or Bryson Smith. Replacement better have his afterburners on or heâs going to get lit up a lot.
