OT: Gonzaga to Pac-12 — No Deal?

you got that wrong. Media always have B1G 1st. then ACC. Doesnt matter

B1G/ACC/B12/SEC/BE/PAC

I may be generous putting the SEC as 4th instead of 3rd.

I don’t understand how Memphis declined an invite, playing San Diego Sate, Boise , Colorado State in both basketball and football sound a lot better than whatever the American has. And now they get the chance to have a home game vs Gonzaga every year

Theyre holding out hope for an ACC/B12 invite and didn’t want to sign the GOR that the Pac was asking for.

They think they belong in the B1G

'Zags making easily double.
That leaves less desirable expansion candidates like North Texas, Rice and New Mexico State.

Saw a comment
Univ needed buyout fee after PAC help from donors not financing. Near $20 million.
Memphis donors outside Fed Ex committed their $ to Liberty Bowl, etc related projects.

AAC is BAD short term without Memphis.

I would say f it and pay the 20 million. Just in the basketball and football tickets alone for the next couple years plus a little more tv money I am sure they would recoup that

With the way PAC has revived what was presumed Dead is remarkable. Kudos to Oregon State and Washington state for getting it done. I wonder if it makes more sense for Stanford and Cal to come back to PAC 12 now. wtf are they doing playing Boston z college, Syracuse etc anyways.
