Agreed. Sheppard fits us the best of any lottery player.
But we have got to free up some PT via a trade.

I agree with this let Stone finish his rebuild job and see where Rockets are on All Star break and see how we look. I think Rockets have money to add another solid veteran via mid level.
With Thompson and Curry aging Sheppard can probably become the best shooter in the league. At the very least the Rockets don’t have to deal with that if he goes to the Spurs or another team.

Starting to see Castle from UConn at # 3.
General thought is great on defense right away.
Does he have the range to be a PG/SG not a SG/SF right away ?

Castle only makes sense if you bring in veteran shooters!!!
This Rockets team lacks in 3 areas. Three point shooting, BB IQ & moving the ball/control the pace of a game!!!
Something Reed Sheppard does excel on! He fits like a glove. But if management who sees these players up close decide on Castle because he’s a future star better bring in snipers!

I hope Stone doesn’t screw this up.
I say take Shepard……dude can flat out shoot.
And he’s not a slow “white boy” shooter….he is an athlete which means he can improve his defense….
I don’t see Brooklyn getting better anytime soon so I would hate to see Stone give back picks and swaps for Bridges……not worth it IMO.

He probably would have made the roster, but it’s not a major loss. There are plenty of devout professional athletes, and he’s coming across as a bit of a cultist/grifter.
