Proof nice guys don’t always finish last.
Louisiana: first in coach’s salaries, last in literacy.
He would have left us. Also, he would have butted heads with Uncle Tillman.
I believe it would have ended it pretty ugly.
CFP contender? Only if we get more high level recruits and transfers. LSU is a ranked top ten recruiting class every year.
Since we do better away, that game should be in Baton Rouge.

He would have been here for 1 season, then left in the middle of the night to go to Texas Tech…
…for God and for Family. Not the $…
LOL - and they take the hunger out of assistant coaches to be better - Frank Wilson begging to stay around as an assistant - man quit at McNeese to be an assistant at LSU
Leaving Ole Miss for LSU is definitely not a lateral move. But had you not read the article that indicated Kiffin’s wife’s wishes would be taken into great consideration. They have gotten back together after a time away from each other and Lane is trying to prioritize his family first.
His wife scouted out Baton Rouge alone and I’m pretty sure she found it superior to Oxford, MS. I can totally understand preferring Baton Rouge to Oxford where in order to get to a city with decent amenities you have to drive 75 miles to Memphis.
the paycheck for her is enough to overcome amenities lol -
She could hop a private jet and head off to LA or Miami whenever she wants to do some shopping, lol.
By the way did not someone from the pissed off law firm told us that LSU was dead in the water due to NIL?
No, it might have been someone else.
How in the world is LSU finding this kind of money? There is no money with LSU…
Agreed.
You and I both know the real answer is…
If you want something, you have the $.
If you don’t want something, you don’t have the $.
And everyone loves spending OPM (Other People’s Money)…
Talk about a couple of low bars to get over. Baton Rouge > Oxford. Practically anywhere > Baton Rouge.
There’s a reason why coaches have to be paid more than anywhere else to go to Baton Rouge.
I just want access to the 1% wealth sources - what are they doing to achieve it and how do you get in the circle if your not family?
Your opinion noted, I differ in mine. I was raised mostly in Baton Rouge and found it a good place to be. I only left because Houston is the place to be if you are in the engineering/construction industry.
