The funny thing is, Dana might be one of the few coaches who would say YES for the job. Not that he would ever succeed. Tons of really hard work would be needed from the new coach to turn things around. And Dana and hard work are sort of mutually exclusive…

No way OKST hires Dana. Recruiting was the main issue with Gundy. Dana would be even worse.
I think Gundy should put some feelers out for an OC position in the NFL. I think he could be really successful and wouldn’t have to worry about playing GM.
Kinne would be a great hire for OKST. Young and unafraid of the NIL game. Would be thrilled to have him in the conference.

Kinne would be their best move, Dana loves a built in excuse and he would walk in there and tell em the recruiting ship sailed with Gundy, it’s life in the Big 12 and I can’t coach this sh*t. Anyone signing up for the HC Dana show is just trying to kill a program with the baggage he brings. He’s where he belongs, being an OC.

Holgorsen was an OC under Gundy. Oklahoma St. knows what they are getting. I would caution Oklahoma St. that the skills needed for a successful head coach are different than being a successful OC. Buyer beware.

USF HC started as GA at Okie State.
ISU TE/RC for 3 years before OC at Tenn.
Seems set up more for Gulf South at this point.
