Thank you.

Does this also go out to the Jew-ish peoples like George Santos?

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was about some offensive tackle named Shana Tova. I guess I am pretty ignorant of Jewish holidays, but now that I know what it is, Happy Shana Tova to all of our Jewish friends. And yes, I felt pretty stupid when I discovered what it was about.

Glad I could help you learn something today. Let me or any other Jewish Cougars know if you have questions about the holidays.

When I was a kid, my Jewish friend’s family took us to a delicatessen (thank God for spleting checkers) and they said after my first corned beef on rye (I think it was) I became an honorary Jew.

Where did you grow up?

Me? Small town south, southwest of Houston. Our backyard fence was barbed wire.

You would think I would know more since the first girl I ever went steady with was Jewish. But it was junior high in the 9th grade and didn’t last long, just like most junior high romances. That was back in 1961-62 school year at Jane Long Junior HS when the 9th grade was still in the junior HS campuses. Now junior high is 6-8 and called middle school, I wonder why.
