IT’S GREAT

TO BE

AN AUBURN TIGER

Alabama still very good. But losing Latrell Wrightsell was huge

Alabama shot 5 of 26 from 3pt at Home. Awful

The FTs (26 of 35) was a big part of their scoring

I can’t stand Alabama. 35 FT attempts? Seriously?! That’s ridiculous for any team to shoot that many free throw. Glad Auburn won.

Agreed, 35 FTA is too many.

Texas Tech’s 34 FTA were much better. :sob::sob::sob:

And Bilas claimed late in the game that “they werent calling hardly any fouls” in this physical game.

A ref can probably call a foul or two every time down the court. If you believe that, like I, you have to question how one team can be awarded so many and the other team so few.
I understand why people get angry…and suspicious.

From the Athletic comes some interesting stats on the UConn loss.

Today’s loss to Seton Hall was the second worst by a defending national champion in the KenPom era (since 1997). Seton Hall is currently #213 in the KenPom ratings.

The WORST loss by a defending national champion was also by UConn… to #214 HOUSTON back in 2015.

My how far we’ve come.

Watching Utah trying to pull a Arizona . . . . .

The first conference win of the Sampson era! How far we’ve come indeed.

Classic Bilas

I wasn’t there but I recall listening on the radio and realizing we’ve got a real coach! Knocking off the defending national champion, after they had had their way with us for so long, and after years of generally miserable basketball, was an eye opener.
