Haven’t the cyber trucks been a huge failure?
It’s obvious to anyone with taste they look like sh-t.
I don’t have the time look up articles today but I know I read something about multiple recalls.
Fires as well?

Are Cybertrucks just this centuries Delorian? I doubt I’m the first person to ask that question.
Fun fact, I’ve never, not a single time, seen a Cybertruck on the road actually using it’s truck bed to haul something. Very odd. To me, that means the overwhelming majority of purchasers weren’t buying them for the utility of it being a truck and instead its a trendy ‘gee wiz’ purchase. Those trends always die out.
Just without the cocaine scandal. Will we look fondly on Cybertrucks in 20 years like we do on Delorians? Of course that is mainly due to Back to The Future.
I think after the initial interest and wait lists with deposits (?), it may indeed turnout to
be a market dud. This should be the make or
brake year for it.
Not sure it’s been troubled by fires, but it has
lots of recalls for various things. But all new model vehicles go thru that phase. The current dilemma is the side panels are glued on and reportedly been falling off. That’s kind of unique in car recalls for fenders falling off.
Yeah, Elmer’s ain’t gonna get it.
A co-worker sitting next to me says there have been 8-9 recalls in a year……I don’t think the average new vehicle is anywhere close to that.
Sounds like it was rushed to market……all the bad PR is gonna sink it……
He uses 420 and Ketamine instead.
As a Tesla owner, I also think the CT is hideous. If you can get past the exterior (I can’t) the interior is very nice.
There are a bunch of them in Sienna where I live. There are also a lot of ICE trucks that I never see hauling anything but a passenger or 2.
Very true (people buying ICE trucks to use as cars really). But its just odd that I’ve seen so many CT and never once seem them being used as a truck. Never seen one towing anything either. Just a weird observation.
They seem to be very popular in Houston but I think the new will wear off as they are not being bought by your typical truck buyer like me. Great self driving tech though no one else comes close.
they tow like a beast though incredible torque at low rpms.
Musk is Jussie Smolletting his own damn Teslas.
I doubt it.
At least the Delorean was a paragon of styling.
NOT so with the cybertrucks.
They’ll probably be remembered more like the way the AMC Pacer and Pontiac Aztek are remembered today: as styling ABOMINATIONS!!!
Quick, somebody just put the thang in a blockbuster movie !
Why did someone flag my last post?
It was non political!!!
It was flagged as off topic. We’ve had a very similar discussion many times in the EV thread. I’m not sure why we need to have it again here.
It is amazing what you will consider on topic.
Nazis, etc.
You are a fraud.
Ok. I’ll ignore the personal attack.
If you want to have that conversation again, please start a thread and leave it there. We don’t need it in every thread involving Tesla or EVs. I think we’ve beaten it to death but maybe others want to keep going with it.
Don’t ignore it.
The things you will allow vis a vis the things you will flag or give friendly warnings to is pathetic.
Everyone knows what you are doing.
You defended your Tesla purchase in the fall, are you still defending it as a good buy? Just asking.
Please chill with the personal attacks. They aren’t a good look and are quite clearly against board rules.
I give warnings across the board. You don’t see everything. Both sides stay upset with me. Trust me.
And I don’t have a Tesla. You’re confusing me with someone else.
Whatever RT. If people started using communist or socialist or fraudster you would give one of your sanctimonious lectures of “let’s not go there”. You are good with Nazis though.
