This seems kind of random. I wonder how Parish ended up connecting with the Texans. DE Dylan Horton gets injured. Did Parish’s agent contact the Texans? Did the Texans contact Parish? Did Tank give an employee referral and get referral bonus?
This would be a good story for the Houston Chronicle to tell.
Derek Parish was waived by the Houston Texans today. Best hope is for Parish to clear waivers and resign with the Texans as a member of the practice squad.
