It’s possible, but highly improbable. Let’s face facts, we don’t have the OL to be a CFB team this year. I’m pretty sure we have seen the OLs of other top 20 teams and ours doesn’t look the same. Our defense is not in the same league as other top teams like the top half of teams in the SEC and B1G.
I just hope we can win out or at least 2 of our 3 remaining games. But regardless, we have already exceeded most expectations of the media, other coaches, and most of our own posters. I have enjoyed going to our games and look forward to the rest of the season. I just know we are on an ascending trajectory and CWF is the reason.

It’s unlikely, but can’t be ruled out.
Cincy is currently behind against Utah, so if Cincy loses, that’s step one.
It’ AIN’T “over” ‘til it’s over.
And even if the CCG and playoff doesn’t happen, we are still in the running for double digit wins and a Top 25 season.
That’s always been considered a successful season in the past, so given that, no, the season AIN’T over.

True we don’t have a SEC OL, but we have one one of the best TE, QB and DL man in the country. Talent that’s gone after this season.
We start from scratch next season. No one knows what you end up fielding. Could be less than this years talent.
By beating ASU we put ourselves in a position to play in the conference championship game

I don’t know how long it will take for the guys we recruited from HS to develop, but I can see them progressing. OL starters Ebersole and Hunter will return next year. Backups in 2 deep returning are Agnello (JR), McClain (RSFR) and Bowie (RSFR).
I have no clue who we are even looking at as possible portal guys because the players can’t enter the portal yet. But, I trust CWF to get some help there.
Again though. With Cindy’s loss today, it is still not an impossibility.
Coogs are not ready for a playoff game we a couple of more years top recruiting classes in my opinion

Very few fans expected UH to contend for the confidence championship game.
I certainly didn’t.
It’s rare to go from 4 wins to 11 in one year.
All the angst and anger over the WVU loss amounts to unjustified emotion.
We are 7-2 with three to play and we are still able to have a good season even if we lose one or two more games.
What will our record be at the end of the regular campaign:
8-4? 9-3? 10-2?
I’m hoping for 10-2, but even if we lose another game or so, it’s been a delightfully surprising, if not exceptional season.

That’s how I was.
As bad as we were last year, especially on offense, and with only four defensive starters returning, I was just hoping for six wins and a bowl game.
We’ve already exceeded that, and have a chance for double digit wins and a ranked finish.
In other words, the season AIN’T over after this game, contrary to what some people here claim.
Utah’s loss to Cincy was definitely a help for UH. I’ll say that.
We really need to be praying that TCU can win out (except for when we play them).
But even then, our chances at a CCG are extremely slim unless Tech and BYU both get upset.

We also need BYU to win out. This will eliminate Cinci, then Utah and Tech would need to lose another one.
If WVU steps up and tries to mess with Tech to have a fun end to the season, we’ll definitely be in that CCG hahahaha
