With TT/UH one of the first games to sell out in Lubbock, seems they are thinking Smith will start.
Coley keeping it close, think he will end up being the guy
Nice to have competition at the QB spot again
Like two race horses neck-and-neck down the home stretch.
All he is doing is repeating what the coach said during an interview.
Seems pretty clear Smith is the guy and the assistants aren’t going to come out and make a statement on who it is.
This could lead to all kinds of conclusions.

Dana and OCs are doing this by design so Tech can’t game plan for one.
-
Neither QB has impressed enough to secure the starting job
-
Donavan Smith is throwing INTs in fall scrimmages and Coley is getting consideration now.

Bacon
I think you mean UTSA. Tech will have film by the time we play them.
Definitely the Bacon
You are correct.
If Coley is competing as good as Smith especially considering Smith has Big 12 gameday experience, that says a lot about Coley.
If they’re truly 50/50, got to roll with Donovan’s size and experience. Rooting for Coley though, he’s been with the program longer and has more time to play for the Coogs in the future. Hope these guys keep pushing one another.
I am predicting we will have a starting QB to start the season.
Coley does have an extra year in the system. That has to be taken into account.
It has been a while since we have had QB discourse and I am here for it.
Its top quality takes like this as to why I visit this sordid clambake often.
DC delivers again.
No they actually like to watch the Red Raiders play. Now if Smith starts I’m sure there will be some emotions running throughout.
Bottom line I hope we have a fanbase like that one day and a rowdy student body that shows every week.
We can dream.
Go Coogs
Could be a two QB, go with the hot hand set up.
Keep em guessing.
Only took CDH what 5 years to make that happen?
I’m old enough to remember Blake Joseph vs Case Keenum and John O’Korn vs Greg Ward.
Go with the winner, the kid with the most heart, no matter the size.
