All he is doing is repeating what the coach said during an interview.
Seems pretty clear Smith is the guy and the assistants aren’t going to come out and make a statement on who it is.

This could lead to all kinds of conclusions.

  1. Dana and OCs are doing this by design so Tech can’t game plan for one.

  2. Neither QB has impressed enough to secure the starting job

  3. Donavan Smith is throwing INTs in fall scrimmages and Coley is getting consideration now.

If Coley is competing as good as Smith especially considering Smith has Big 12 gameday experience, that says a lot about Coley.

If they’re truly 50/50, got to roll with Donovan’s size and experience. Rooting for Coley though, he’s been with the program longer and has more time to play for the Coogs in the future. Hope these guys keep pushing one another.

No they actually like to watch the Red Raiders play. Now if Smith starts I’m sure there will be some emotions running throughout.
Bottom line I hope we have a fanbase like that one day and a rowdy student body that shows every week.
