SMU had the same opportunity as us to win the AAC, go to a NY6 Bowl/Playoffs, Final Four, etc.
Houston, Cincinnati & Central Florida have those on their resume, hence the promtion…SMU did not

You’re gonna think I’m lying. But this is the honest truth. I’ve done 20+ years in business in Finance and Accounting. I have never (not one time) met an SMU grad. Now, I could have and not known it, but I have never met one that admitted it or spoke about it.
So if SMU is such a great school where are all these M%#%F%^%# taking our jobs?

They were non-existent in the military as well, though there are a lot of SMU law grads in my current profession.

I have plenty of Tex school grads in my family. I suspect you all do too. ATM, UT, UH, Baylor. That’s what makes it fun. And yes there is Stanford there too
I’ve had lots of Lamar, aTm, UH, UT, Texas State, TWU, and TCU grads/attendees.
My great aunt was the only SMU grad, and she died over a decade ago.
Don’t know of any Baylor grads.
Out of state, five of my cousins went to Notre Dame.
In fact, they would have said that we deserved to get left behind.

This sense of internal irrelevance is kind of pathetic. I’m a glass half full guy.
I’m one. I have an mba from there.

Plenty of G5 schools more deserving of a P5 invite than SMU. All SMU has is money.
