Pitino to Indiana?

Just throwing this out there

indianna had to much of name brand to take that risk…with a history of bad reputation coaches to boot (dont want to make that worse)

They are tired of losing and might not care as much about that anymore though.

i agree with you, but i think that desperation is going to be in the form of offering someone like beard an insane contract, itll come in the form of money and going after the biggest name possible
Pitino is a wake forest type move…indiana isnt there yet

They should call Scott Drew and make him say no since he is an Indiana guy. There is no reason for him to leave Baylor unless he misses living in Indiana lol.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan is available. He likes to throw chairs.

A lot of talks about Brad Stevens on the web if he is let go by Boston

Celtics aren’t letting him go. The ownership already said that he isn’t going anywhere.

No way Beard goes there. He’s damn near worshipped in Lubbock

Pitino to SMU needs to happen. Like yesterday.

Beard coached under Bob and Pat Knight.

Don’t know if his daughters being in Lubbock is still a factor as this was 5 years ago. Beard shouldn’t take that job. He has made Tech a great job and recruiting in TX is much better.

Selfishly speaking… him leaving Tech wouldn’t be terrible for us. Less competition for recruits

The problem with the Indiana job is the same problem as the Texas football job. People up there think Indiana invented basketball and that the Hoosiers should win like its 1976.

Yep. Indiana thinks they’ve won the last 10 national championships. How long before they hear, “its been ______years since Indiana…”

Speaking of Pitino’s

Apparently he had already interviewed with New Mexico before Minnesota officially fired him lol

I hear Dan Dakich is campaigning for the Hoosiers to hire Kelvin Sampson.

How are the Italian restaurants in Bloomington? Particularly the tables in those restaurants. Firm? Sturdy?
