I like the aforementioned NCFOM. Also I find Scott and Holman great for all around Cougar Sports.
Left, Right, and Center is my go to for politics, as it’s never crazy town.
Conan O’Brien needs a friend is consistently hilarious. I was a so-so fan of his until listening to this one.
Joe Rogan from time to time. To be on for a few hours gives you a pretty good idea of who the invitee really is. The good thing about a podcast is that it is like a book. You can make your own schedule to listen to it. I like the variety of guests.
Aside from sports podcasts…
- I like Lex Fridman’s non-political podcasts. Whenever he has scientists or philosophers they’re usually interesting. His style is very straight to the point and direct which I like.
- I used to watch Rogan, before he became super bro-ish like the other bro podcasts.
- I like Shawn Ryan’s podcast when he interviews combat vets/SOF operators and their experiences, but I avoid his political stuff.
- Strong Towns podcast is one of my favorites.
- Drink Champs podcast is really good if you’re into hip hop, but mainly when it’s rappers from the 90s
- Digital Wildcatters is an oil and gas podcast I really enjoy. Based in Houston. They’re a tad bit right-leaning, but it’s still relatively unbiased
That Lamar Odom episode… was something.
