We aren’t without firepower.
Edwards already has 1,000 career points. Moore, White and Carlton will hit 1,000 by early February. All four should be 1,100+ by the time NCAA tournament play rolls around.
For the record, only 36 players in Cougar history have scored 1,100 career points.
I love everything about Kelvin and what he has done and he would be on short list but nothing defined bottom more than Baylor when Scott Drew got there and he has won it all now and been ranked #1 4 of the last 6 years.
Scott Drew in my mind owns the most incredible rebuild of all time in my mind.
Ok thanks Lance
Edit: that post should be more on the Bear board. I was just sharing some positive coverage of the Coog program from CBSSports.
Rothstein always with his eye on the Coogs.
Uh oh! Duarte reporting Taze out for season too!!
I agree Drew is a master rebuilder but I think you have to look at the fact it took him five years to get them into the tourney after he took over. 7 years to get to the elite 8. And 18 years to get to the Final Four. Granted he won it all but Sampson’s trajectory is a lot steeper than Drew’s and if you consider Sampson had to coach an entire season in another school’s gym…
You scaring me
… and with B12 spending levels
Yep. They are both most excellent. I love Sampson snd I’d take him over anyone. Drew is a fine coach, though.
And Drew had Big 12 resources to work, not the least of which money. Also easier to sell the Big 12 over the AAC
