We may see them in the Diamond Head Classic:

Instead, Green will be able to play and will almost certainly start in the season opener against Baylor a week from tonight. Elijah Hardy started in his place in the exhibition against Western Washington last night and played 20 minutes. Jamal Bey played most of the remaining time at PG despite it not being his natural position. We’ll see with Green back in the lineup if Bey continues to see time at PG or if the team will have a more traditional arrangement with Hardy (or freshman Marcus Tsohonis) coming in for him.

Green was the #26 player in the 247 Sports Composite rankings entering college but was forced to split time with eventual NBA lottery pick Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as a freshman. Kentucky again brought in two 5-star point guards to compete with Green in his sophomore campaign which led to his transfer once his playing time began to diminish.

He shot 38.5% from 3-pt range in his 1+ seasons at Kentucky and should immediately become the team’s best shooter on a team that badly needs shooting. A crunch time lineup of Green, Bey, Carter, McDaniels, and Stewart would have 5 guys all capable of either creating their own shot or distributing to others without sacrificing a whole lot on the defensive end.
