I think we’re heading towards being co-champs with Zona. If we do we’re probably looking at a 2 seed. I think Zona is an elite 8 team. We’re definitely a 2nd weekend team if healthy. Fingers crossed on that though.
I still think ISU has final four potential. I think they’re the team to watch now that the Bird clone is back. They should finish strong and grab a 2 or 3 seed.
Kansas may finally not grab a top 4 seed. Even still they’ll definitely have the potential to make the S16. Tech is dangerous if they’re shooting well. Baylor is probably good for a first round win and then a scare for a 2/3 seed.
To my knowledge the tie breaker only impacts conference tournament seeding. If you finish tied in the standings then you’re co-champs. Regardless of whether one team has the head to head. Could be wrong though.
Edit: went back and looked at some of the past years where the league had co-champs. In 2013 KState and Tech finished as co-champs but Tech won both regular season meetings. So yah I think any tie in the standings results in a co-champion scenario.
