It’s the Big 12 excuse that seems to get under everyone’s skin, including Duarte. Reality is if we lined up against SMU or Tulane today, we’d get smoked. That’s the truth.
Defense is always out of position. Offense can’t seem to understand they can’t run ball control. And there’s no adjustment. It’s a shame for the kids, some of whom are really talented. I can see Manjack in the portal end of season. Sad.
No game time management, no nothing. Look for Dana to chuck the ball all game long against OSU to save his job. Thing is, that’s not a program.
And while not related, I’m not a Donovan Smith fan. He takes forever to get through his reads. I see so many open guys immediately after the snap, while he just sits there and then decides throw to laterals. Said it before, pls see Quinn Ewers and others on how to get the ball out.

I am so tired of, “It’s just life in the Big 12.” Cincy came with us from the ACC and had no Big 12 wins when they entered our game and had only beaten Western Kentucky and Pitt before conference play. They lost to G5 Miami of Ohio in their only other non conference game. We were totally dominated by a 2-7 team; that is just unacceptable. I’ve supported Holgorsen for 5 years and I’ve had enough, I’m done with this guy. However, if our administration keeps him another year, I will assume we just can’t afford the buyout and tolerate him another year.

“Life in the Big12” is cringy. I’m embarrassed for Dana. It’s like he’s implying that he knows better than us unwashed heathens. Hell we grew up playing Aggy, Texas, Baylor etc.
It’s even worse than that, the cardinal sin was saying Cincy loss was “life in the Big12”, at least for me. Please. Thing is, he couldn’t beat half the teams in the AAC today. Rice, UTSA (rematch), Memphis, SMU and surely not Tulane. Not sure we get past ECU or UNT. It’s so sad. So very sad.
