And it was UH basketball that laid the foundation for the Rockets to move here. UH basketball should receive nuch nore focus from local AND STATE media just based on that. Its their birthright.
UH holds the Texas crown of college basketball (spare me the Texas Western story). If UT or A&M had 7 Final 4 appearances they wiukd be treated like Kentucky/Duke in this state.
And Guy Lewis at the helm of either of those programs performing as he did at UH would have been in the HOF during his coaching tenure.

Have said many times that he belongs in the scarlet and albino. Culture fit.
Makes me think that this might be Kelvinās swan song and that heās pushing all his chips in. Especially if Hall comes as well.

Always said those UT teams didnāt deserve a player like him. He fits our culture to a T.
Excellent rebounder and defender solid ball handler. Not a great shooter but can make some. He came alive during the tournament to help them advance.
