Word to your mother.

Five years ago we were given the Tour by the Director of the Cemetery. Not only hallowed ground but American soil in France
Our cemeteries are the only pieces of land the U.S. claimed after liberating Europe twice. More than 218,000 of our countrymen spilled their blood and lost their lives in the two World Wars in Europe. Laid to rest in 25 different cemeteries. RIP.
I am from Normandie. One Summer we were swimming in the ocean. All of a sudden the Coast Guard asked us to get out of the water. About 30 minutes later the mine that had come up was detonated. This was similar to this video…sunny skies though.
The American cemetery IS hallowed ground. I went there as a little boy, early, teens and not too long ago. Every single time it moves you to your core. France, the entire world owes their freedom to the greatest generation.
Every time I hear that America is not the greatest country in the world you know the answer that comes out of my mouth.
Victory at Sea is awesome. Watched it with my dad as a kid.
