True, the media then just reported known facts without partisan opinions infused in the article.

They also reported a lot less for obvious reasons.
Because the term “active shooter” wasn’t so much a part of civilian life back then.
Media has reflected the views of it’s publisher/broadcaster from day one. William Randolph Hearst would agree. Especially newspapers. Cronkite seemed fairly impartial, but no one truly is. Not the way the world works.
That was on the editorial page back then, now it’s in the report.

The boy and I went to a Mustang exhibit that opened up in L.A. this weekend. Couldn’t bring myself to buy a souvenir, for obvious reasons.
