Virginia loses to Pitt. Pitt is a classic example of sticking with a coach who has been a failure till now but is having a good season this year.
#21 UNM lost to Fresno State last night. I believe they were the last undefeated team.

It’s surreal to think that we could be playing at Cincy on Sunday for the #1 ranking. Cincy - a school we virtually never beat prior to Sampson. Cincy, a school we’ll be favored to beat on the road by 10 or 11 on Sunday.
We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto. These are the good ol’ days.

If you listen to IU fans, last night’s loss is due to Kelvin Sampson. He set the team so far back, all losses are still his fault.

I think that is a very real possibility.
Kansas has played Duke, Wisconsin, NC State, Tennessee, Seton Hall, Missouri and Indiana in OOC, lost one. We have played Oregon, Saint Mary’s, Alabama and Virginia and lost one. As a complete Houston homer, if I am a voter, it will be hard for me to ignore the quality of teams Kansas played and won.
It’s St Mary’s. They’re 11th in NET. Santa Clara is 75th. Big difference. St Mary’s is higher than the others you listed outside of Tennessee, and Alabama is basically an offset to the Vols

Wisconsin (lost today) and Seton Hall aren’t even top 50 in the NET.
Kent State and Oral Roberts are.
Additionally, only 4 of the teams you listed were top 20 in the NET today. We played 3 of them.
