Some teams really getting punched on the road

Home game for UT. Will be impressive if Creighton wins by double digits.

It’s pretty awesome to be able to look at this list and not have to think about who’ll we’ll pass up if we win our games this week. :sunglasses:

UT is -6.5 against Creighton.

Fully agree. UT has a home win over a massively overrated Zags team and then a bunch of wins over glorified high school teams. Creighton is the real deal, too.

This is the easier path they get to the top. We have worked for 3 years to get this respect.
Ut, on the other hand, coming off another underachieving season gears up for one big HOME GAME against a team they outmanned and they are #2

Updated

Updated mid Sunday.

Could UNC go from #1 to unranked in the span of two weeks?

yes

Wait. Did not realize UNC has actually lost 4 this year. And 4 in a row, at that. Dang.

Creighton lost by 10 home to KenPom’s 95th-rated Nebraska. Another UT win that’s not as impressive as initially thought

That and the fact they will have gone to New Years Eve before playing a road game.

and to think the AP ranked them 2nd for beating maybe the worst Gonzaga team since 2011

That would be my guess, as well. Could see Purdue jumping Virginia since the latter struggled against 1-9 FSU. Still think we get some non-#1 votes similar to last week, though I could see all of Virginia’s last week #1 votes going to Purdue and Texas.
