What is the redshirt rule in basketball? I know it is like 4 games for football but how is it set up for basketball?
I think its an equivalent of 8 games for basketball…or something close to it…maybe im thinking medical redshirt
its not set up… there is no rule, you play you lost your redshirt…
note: if you play a certain amount of games and get a season ending injury you can get a medical redshirt, but that isnt the same thing…
note shortly after the football rule was added a few years ago, a basketball one was proposed and been in the works but there is no sign it wil be passed anytime soon
