Another interesting stat since the 2017-18 season, the FT% of our opponents has dropped every year.
This might indicate that the level of pressure we put on our opponents is physically and mentally exhausting, especially late in the game, thus affecting the FT shot.
Weâve now played 4 games, but this is still a 3 game stat. I was wondering where Jamal Shead might land in the rankings for blocked shots per game. He seems to have a few every game. Interestingly, our team is tied for 36th nationally with 5.2 blocked shots per game, but we have only a single player in the top 100 individually. Jamal is our leading shot blocker per game right now at 1.67 per game, which lands him in an 11-way tie for 96th. Whatâs hilarious about that stat is shown below. Whatâs truly amazing about this stat is that Jamal is only averaging 15 minutes per game right now.
Second on the team in blocked shots: JâWan Roberts at 1.3 per game, while only playing 13.8 minutes per game. Folks, there is a lot to look forward to with this bunch!
We donât have HintonâŠwhich has lowed our assists. Give Shead a year and he could lead the nation in assists per game.
