Actually a turf and pad system is just as safe as grass. I do not know what our system is made off. I can write that on a National level most high schools or parks do not have a pad under the turf. I explained earlier the correlation with recycler rubber infill and shock/safety absorption. This is where the dangerous irony comes in. Because these same employees did not take of grass they think turf is maintenance free…A few years later the same turf field becomes a safety issue. Every sports turf field has to be tested once a year. It is called a GMAX test. If it falls about 200 the field is deemed unsafe to play on. I can write that any field about 160 is IMO unsafe to play on. You can also bet that if a field is between 160 and 200 the infill is already heavily compacted and will have a lesser life span.
You can a school district, city or county spend a $M’s plus and six months later the grooming machine is collecting cobwebs or has not moved.

There have been opportunities and ones still out there but we have to look at cost
No way the stadium isn’t hosting regular season games for high school or even other colleges on off weekends if it was planned right
