sorry…wouldn’t let me post his real name
And agreed…Hunter Maldonado with his plethora of turnovers did make a difference, in Indiana’s favor.
“Richard” has us losing to UAB…
We found our PG this year, I feel good with Shead running the ship.
what a Richardhead
Good call on Hunter Maldonado. 10 turnovers vs Indiana.
Damn… I remember getting called out when I said he was one of the best PGs in the country…
First thing I saw too…… that guy single handily kept his team from having any shot at all!
He was either going to carry Wyoming or sink them. Unfortunately for Wyoming and the MWC, he did not play well. Out of the 8 or 9 times I watched Wyoming play this year, that was easily their worst game. They are definitely a much better team than what they displayed. But oh well…if you can’t do it when it counts, then who cares?!
Penis gave Phi Slamma Jamma no respect back in the day either.
I got no respect for his opinion.
Just one mans opinion… kinda redundant, aint it?
3 of the 4 who have played are already out of the tourney. Vitale’s opinion not so good.
How about the St Peter Wackers knocking of KY
Someone on the other board actually said Shead would come off the bench next year if Sasser is back . I couldn’t believe what I was hearing
No way lol Shead is our PG period lol
He was certainly a huge Valvano fan/NCS supporter, but in all fairness he was one of the first, if not the first who started pumping Olajuwon as an All-American his freshman year…
Of course, that was not exactly stepping out on a ledge. It was obvious from the get Dream was going to be special.
But Vitale started his rant from the very beginning of Hakeem’s UH career…
Not the way I remember it at all. He consistantly said they were going to lose, every round. B4 they played Villanova in regional finals he went on a rant saying that the Coogs had had their little run but now they were gonna see how big time college basketball was played. He said that Pinone (Villanova center) would school Olajuwan and that the Wildcats would send Houston packing. Of course, after the game, the press was asking Pinone if he had become intimidated by all the shots he had seen swatted in his face. Vitale never acknowledged Houston was any good until after the Louisville game (national semifinal)
Guess we listened to different Vitales. The one I listened to pumped Hakeem as being a future All American baby!
