Richie Leone - back in the CFL

Looks like Leone is finally going to get to the NFL. Well deserved

Report: Cardinals to sign CFL punter Richie Leone

Leone, 24, spent the last two seasons with the Lions, for whom he punted 216 times with an average of 49.4 yards per kick and a net average of 39.11. He was also the team’s kicker, converting on 65-of-90 field goal attempts.

Leone played his college football for the University of Houston Cougars. In 2013 he was a FWAA Second team All-American as well as a Ray Guy Award semifinalist. He went undrafted in 2014 before signing with the Baltimore Ravens. He appeared in three preseason games before being waived in late August.

Good for him. Always admired the special teams under Sumlin/ Levine.

Great news.
keep in mind that Bruce Arians has had some major health issues this season. There has been some speculation that he might step down. The next few weeks/months will tell us.
