Francis has an injury excuse, but for where we hope to go in March, 3 rebounds in 50+ minutes from 2 of our bigs, is a big issue.

Francis is nowhere near ready to compete against top competition.
Alabama ruled the boards, sometimes simply out hustling us.
Roberts and Tugler did not have great games.
Their bigs had length but also willing to battle. Tough night at the office for sure
Their leading rebounder #10 is listed at 6’7 215. I attribute his success on the glass tonight to motor and effort. Our guys are capable of giving that same effort. Just gotta figure out how to match their energy.

This has been the knock on Roberts - he gets taken out of play by more physical and active front courts.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that any game JR plays 38 minutes and only grabs ONE rebound, we are gonna lose. His rebounding and BPM numbers are way down from last season. Need him to play a lot better.
