I think the rockets take milos at 55. I think there’s an unwritten understanding that Tillman will take UH products if it seems like they need a little bump. Helps recruit to the program going forward. At least that’s what I’m hoping for lol.

Pretty good chance the Rockets take Milos the way things are right now. Rockets need PGs badly.

They just drafted Bruce Thornton, they weren’t taking Milos. Milos only goes undrafted if he wants to choose his own destination. Bet on himself

Yes. Milos is not an NBA player. Maybe Europe for him.

I didn’t say he would not get a shot. Think he will end up playing somewhere besides an NBA team.

I see Milos’ biggest issue is going mostly to one side when pressed. That will get exposed badly in the NBA

It’s actually been the opposite since Tilman bought the Rockets… could’ve drafted Q but didn’t (drafted bum a$$ Josh Christopher instead), didn’t draft LJ Cryer last season, didn’t draft Milos Uzan this season but they took Thornton at 31, drafted Reed Sheppard the same season they could’ve gotten Shead late in the draft…

Unfortunately, none of the former UH players you mentioned have thus far distinguished themselves in the NBA. Yes, it’s early, but they have demonstrated limited impact.
As a team, CKS players are very good at the collegiate level, but individually, they haven’t risen to the star or super star level in the league. Even Roberts, who was immensely
impactful for UH, is playing in Europe.
The Rockets aren’t going to select UH players over more potentially impactful non UH players.
Sheppard vs Shead? Stats favor Sheppard.
Maybe Flemings and Cenac will rise to star level, but only time will tell. I’m not expecting Sharp or Uzan to have a significant impact in the league, but I’m open to be surprised.

I said the Rockets took a PG with the top 3 pick (one that has underperformed greatly) the same year that Shead was drafted… they could’ve drafted another position player and targeted Shead late in the draft if they believed in Shead… they didn’t. I suppose the injury to FVV could be part of the reason here…
Also, $head has proven to be the better PG through their careers at this point… Reed is the better scorer, but he better start scoring a WHOLE LOT MORE to justify that 3rd overall pick.
I also think you’re wrong about Q who the Rockets could’ve had instead of Garuba or Christopher… Q has been a very nice player in Philly, and elsewhere… much better than Garuba and Christopher.
And… I don’t know why the Rockets didn’t try harder to get LJ… he’s already shown he’s a legit NBA 3 point shooter & the Rockets could’ve used that plus his guard skills on the bench last season.

Respectfully, Shead has been way more impactful to winning than Reed has been. The Rockets would’ve been better off last year with Shead over Shephard and it’s not close imo.

Agree with this 100% Rockets are trying to mold Reed into something hes never been. A floor general and that is second nature to Shead.
Shooting wise, Reed has him there but if you cant defend and assist or direct the offense you really need the other players to make up for it.
