Houston Football’s Red & White game will kick off at 3:30 p.m., with gates 1, 2, 3 & the club entrance at TDECU Stadium opening at 2:30 p.m. Houston Football alums will take to the field just after 3 p.m. for a flag football game before the current Cougars hit the field for a four-quarter scrimmage.
Following the conclusion of the game, Houston fans are invited to the Indoor Practice Facility for a postgame autograph session with Houston Football’s juniors and seniors.
Admission to the Red & White game is free with access restricted to the lower bowl and club areas. Concessions will be available throughout the event along with an Athletics Department surplus sale that includes helmets, shoes, jackets, polos and other apparel. All items are first-come, first-serve. In addition to surplus items, the Fanatics Team Shop will also have current Houston apparel for sale.
Following the Red & White Game, Houston Baseball faces USF at 6:30 p.m. April 7, the second of a three-game series between two of three teams in The American to garner preseason No. 1 votes from the league’s coaches. USF is one of 14 2017 NCAA Regional teams on Houston’s schedule this season with single-game tickets for the weekend series starting at only $5 at UHCougars.com/tickets.
Houston Track and Field kicks off the day with the Houston Alumni Invitational at the Carl Lewis Complex beginning at 11 a.m. The meet features a top-three showdown on the men’s side as No. 3 Houston hosts No. 2 Texas A&M while the No. 47 Houston women host No. 6 Texas A&M along with Tulane, Rice, Lamar and Houston Baptist. Tickets for the event are $8 for adults and $5 for youth and available at UHCougars.com/tickets.
