I see the start time for our #7 Cougar basketball team’s game versus Rice is scheduled to tip at 1:00 PM.
I also see our 3 point favorite Cougar football team’s game at Memphis is scheduled to kickoff at 11:00 AM.
I am hoping our athletic department will consider pushing back the start time on the basketball game to at least 4:00 PM so we can enjoy a Cougar football victory and still have time to get to the Fertitta Center for the 25+ beat down of the hootie birds.

My best guess . . . . . athletic department has NO SAYSO as to the kick off/tip off times . . . . .

neither game is on tv and bb is at home so the athletic dep.t should have total control
Memphis game is in espn+, so UH could change the rice game time to be later like they moved the USC game time.
Not sure about football but the basketball game is definitely being televised on ESPN+
espn+ is not tv or cable, it is computer streaming. Big difference,

I watch ESPN+ on multiple TVs in my house almost daily.
but you are streaming it through your computer router and not your cable box. Counts against your data cap.

Rice rarely seems to cooperate with us on anything. Wouldn’t surprise me if we asked them to move the start time that they would refuse.
