Season Tickets?

I have a couple of stupid questions, but whatever.

How does the season ticket waitlist work? I pay $75 to just get on the waitlist? How realistic is it that I get a chance to purchase season tickets after paying $75?

How much does it cost after that? I noticed there is a young alumni section - would I get the opportunity to get a pair of seats there?

Never done this before but really thinking about it for next year.

Thanks! Sorry if dumb.

The money fot the waitlist goes to your tickets. I think about 400 per seat where im at in 107 row 12.
I went on the waitlist late last spring and was able to buy tickets before football season started i think.

Waitlist is 75 just to get on it. Not sure if that amount goes towards your tickets. No its not guaranteed but if theres a price increase you might get some. I believe somewhere between 500 and 1000 seats were not renewed last increase and gave it up to others.

Young alumni just depends if they leave. After 5 years i think it increases automatically. Dont quote me on that.

Im probably not giving you the right information but thats what i thought.

I’m pretty sure that the $75 goes toward the season ticket price.

They’ve also identified a bunch is season tickets that were purchased by brokers that will be canceled and sold to fans next year.

Is there some way to report this? The two tickets next to mine are clearly broker seats. I’ve sat next to opposing fans every game this season.

Same here. Almost always opposing fans, too. Last night, they were nice people, but still, Baylor fans.

Yeah, most of the fans have been fine (TCU excluded). But disappointing that those tickets aren’t being used by Coogs. I just sent a note to the tickets office - tickets@uh.edu:

I read on one of the UH fan forums that the ticket office is trying to crack down on season tickets held by brokers. In case that’s accurate, I’m writing to report two tickets that I’m almost certain are held by brokers. I have two tickets in Section ___, Row __, Seats ___ & ___. The two seats next to us ( ___ and ___ ) have been either empty or occupied by opposing fans every game I’ve been to this year (which is most of them). They were empty during most/all of non-conference play, and they’ve been taken by opposing fans during all of conference play. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up in case this helps.

Edit: They already responded and said they’d look into it.

Be sure to report them to our office.
I may just be petty but I prefer to be surrounded by UH fans.
Going to be out of my element heading out to Arizona this week.

would be badass to have our names on a plaque on our seats…exclusive

Got a buddy who always has opposing fans next to him. Totally annoying. I let him know just now. Hope they yank those and get them to an actual UH fan.

Don’t give the athletic department any ideas lol.

They will read this and then charge us a personal seat license in form of a “donation”.

Send a note to Kelly Marchbanks in Cougar Pride. This is his mission to clean us. Give him section and seat numbers.

My $75 fee was not credited to my tickets.

SigEp - If your $75 wait list deposit was not credited towards your tickets purchase price, then I suggest you speak with your Cougar Pride contact. They will get this corrected. I have had great success in working with my CP contact to resolve issues. Seems there is more personnel stability in CP than the ticket office.

Did you buy tickets for the Arizona game from UH?

First few years, with the exception of the Covid year, most all seats surrounding us were either empty or occupied by visitors. Now, most are season ticket holders.
