Frederick signed with ASU
I keep hearing CMA is holding back some scholarships for possible transfers. Anyone here aware of anyone currently on that radar?
Also, why is it that 2 guys who played last year (Dane Roy and Chris Johnson) count toward the 2017 class?
We had already filled last year’s class before Roy and Johnson came on board. Since they both arrived after the signing period, we were allowed to add them to this year’s class. Roy was technically a walk-on during the summer until they could officially count him.

Dickson counting against the class is BS. He was never even on the team.
He was practicing, but the NCAA wouldn’t clear him after transferring from Baylor (and never playing there). He did complete the fall semester at UH before leaving.
There are rumblings that he may come back though, so it may not be a lost scholly.

Are the transfer spots being left open, for Juco players, to fill depth problems? I assume that would give them immediate experience, rather than develop it.
They could be for JUCO, late signees, transfers, or reward some walk-ons (Birden, Carr)
