Sofian Massoud is Going to

Sure, I just thought I would ask

The important thing is these young men get to further their education on scholarship while still being able to play. For guys not going pro, the degree is much more important. For guys in the pros, it’s good to have for later, but if you are making many millions a year, it isn’t nearly as necessary.

Good for him. Won’t ever begrudge someone that had no chance of playing for us to decide to go somewhere that they can get on the field.

Once The Big 12 was announced the evaluations changed.

Massoud is not a Division 1 talent.

Kopp, however, went to a PAC 12 school. Assuming his talent is superior to Massoud.

Can’t disagree, but having said that, if he got a good NIL deal it may be more than enough to entice him.

Not saying that is the case, but who knows.

Massoud transferred to a Division 1 school, so how is he not a Division 1 talent

Chill out detail police. They clearly meant FBS

Travis Hunter doesn’t play for an FBS school. Is he not a D1 talent?

We have no idea who was going after Massoud. And his motivation for picking the school that he chose.

Massoud is a great athlete. Hes not a great qb. But good on him for chasing his dream.

I loved the kids game as a high schooler, that said, a ton of really good HS players find out that its a different kind of ball game on Saturdays. I wish the young man all the best!

Might want to change your nickname. :upside_down_face:

Sofian is a QB that many thought
including me
could show some promise at the position. Originally committed to Rutgers and changed to UH. I know his mother is a UH grad and I think she ran track (??). Sofian never got a chance to take a snap, even in clean-up time. Since he is signing with Hampton, I guess there wasn’t a lot of interest in him after UH. Maybe he is hoping to shine at Hampton and eventually transfer to another and bigger school. I didn’t attend the Spring Game, so I don’t know if he got on the field there
maybe someone can comment on that.

His brother is a starter on the Kansas State Basketball team

I wanted to se him play but it is his decision and I wish him the best!

I was asking what position Washington played, not Massoud. It was supposed to be an attempt at humor but clearly went right past a few folks. I am very familiar with our roster and the incoming class of athletes.

I will be more careful with my humor in the future for the humor impaired.
