One can never have too many goals and bucket list items to keep us going.
How well is SpaceX doing? Its made Europe’s big three aerospace companies merge to try and compete.
Saw NASA one in Florida at night. Very cool. Highly recommended experience.
That’s just it. Indeed NASA had its fair share of failures. Everything changed after the space shuttle disaster. SPACE X is the best thing that could happen to NASA. I love the fact that we have multiple private entities in the space industry. This can only make our space program stronger and reach new highs thought to be impossible a short time ago.

I mean he’s definitely a bad person. Through and through, but it doesn’t take away from his companies good work or innovations. Ford and Edison same boat awful people but doesn’t take away from their other accomplishments.
I personally am capable of holding two truths at once. Elon’s companies do important and innovative work, and I despise Elon himself as a gross human being.

People don’t dislike Musk because of Tesla, or Space X. It’s everything else.

Your mistake here is you think they hate Musk just because he was cozy with Republicans and not that they hate him for his actual actions and statements. I’m sure for some people it is strictly a partisan issue, but he’s taken plenty of actions, made plenty of statements, and made decisions that are absolutely worthy of criticism, hate or derision.
