This past Sunday, I was passing through the St. Louis airport. Who should I find there, but the UH baseball team, following their win of their series with Wichita State.
I had the opportunity to visit with several of the players, along with the coaches, as they grabbed a quick bite to eat, before their flight home. Every player and coach was very courteous and pleased that an alumni recognized them.
There are many people on this site, who have far more knowledge than me, of the team’s baseball skills. But from my short encounter with the players/managers/coaches, these people are representing the University of Houston at the highest level. Congratulations to them for winning the last two series. Best of luck to the team, the rest of the season.
