You miss the point. It doesn’t matter to us what the ratings are for any of the professional leagues. If the problem was that college age kids wanted to get paid to play football, then the option should be there for them to play professionally. If the league fails then there isn’t really a market demand for their services. But I don’t think I agree that no one would watch it. It would be a better product than what those leagues are now, which is just washed up nfl guys or cfl tier players.

I am an expert on unions. I can think of one union that has a very large turnover wvery four years, maybe not 100% but close.
It is known as the CIR. The Committee of Interns and Residents. It is a union of recent medical school graduates who work in hospitals.

CBA has over the long haul made pro players wealth because of CBA type collectivism, see this totally happening.
If they go the pro route then they should be treated like the pro players. Which means they could be cut in training camp.
