Many have assumed an ACC break-up and future members come from that conference.

We need more Eastern Time Zone schools.

My prediction is as follows:

  • North Carolina & Virginia will join the SEC
  • FSU, Clemson, Miami and 1 other (Louisville, PITT or Georgia Tech) will join the Big 12
  • Notre Dame gets a scheduling partnership with the Big 12 and remains independent
  • B1G stays as is
  • Stanford and Cal join the new PAC
  • The remaining ACC will add schools such as UConn, USF, Memphis, etc
 and will either be the strongest G5 or the weakest P4.

Cincinnati and Louisville are old rivals
WVU vs. PITT have a good rivalry.

If that were to happen, I’d predict South Florida and Memphis are invited to the ACC.

There may be others, I just don’t want NC State. All we will hear about is that one basketball game and their former coach who jinxed us.
