I don’t understand how someone can use AI to write an article and the spelling and grammar get worse.
We did leave the Taliban a $7.1 BILLION parting gift.
Pakistan with their nukes
So much for the lie the current administration sent out in response to leaving those armaments, in our hastily unorganized retreat ( let’s call it what it was) they were disabled and useless to the Taliban. Sure China had a field day, back engineering them and incorporating and improving on the technology for their military.
As far as comparing warring conflict to WWE it really shows how out of touch some folks are with the reality and dangers of war. To compare war to WWE or anything of a kind shows, real emotional immaturity by some imho. It’s not entertainment. War anywhere is a threat to peace everywhere
Officially we left those arms to the democratic government of Afghanistan. They were just overthrown by the Taliban. If you think we left them for the Taliban, you’re brainwashed.
fficially my ass. When we did a strategic retreat ( like the General said in the Korean Conflict when the Chinese Troops overwhelmed our troops, when questioned by the press he said we are attacking in a different direction ) we knew there was not going to be any democratic Afghanistan.
Nah.
The last two Presidents simply threw the fight!
Let’s be straight about that.
And Bro……I’m a Veteran of four wartime deployments, including two to Afghanistan.
I think I’m qualified to comment on these matters in the way that I see fit.
Regarding disabling equipment, that referred to aviation assets, as I recall.
Of course it pi$$es me off that weapons that I fielded to the ANA and ANP are now in the hands of the enemy.
That said….
In a Texas death match in a steel cage, no disqualification, no holds barred, loser leaves town forever, who do you like?
The Taliban or Pakistan?
I’M TAKING BETS!!!

If you thought the Taliban wasn’t going to get those arms after we left then you’re not living in reality.
The Taliban has outlasted conflicts with the USA and Russia…
My $ is on Taliban to still exist after this conflict.
I don’t think of war as a game it’s serious business as you well know. You been trained to win conflicts for our nation you have a martial.mentality, I get it. I’ll politely pass on your offer in choosing sides, I choose the side of peace. As much as that may sound naive in your respects that’s how I roll. Man is a creature that gives fit & fight to everything around him. But the war mentality as , President Kennedy said “either man puts a end to war or war going to put end to man” At the pace we’re going the latter seems more likely than the former. I’'ll not be a willing party to it consciously knowing the future of humanity is at stake. We either on the precipice of the human millennium in the great technological and scientific discoveries being made and yet to be made or the eve of our destruction the choice is ours.
Hmmm…
I think that there’s a far older proverb.
Only the DEAD have seen the end of war.
With that thinking you have cosigned mankind to a collective death sentence, if you see things that way. I for one will not submissively accept that paradigm we must and we can forge a new paradigm one built on cooperation among nations for a collective better future for man, if we can set aside our collective national ego’s and pride and lust for hegemonic power and fear of the other.
You speak of the peace of the grave. President Kennedy spoke to this mindset
