I think Sonny’s being a good conference guy. I’m not sure if he’s happy we’re in but he’s got enough country boy smarts to know how to parlay words and make the conference look good. The fact that he’s right on all counts helps a lot, too. A good TCU program strengthens the conference immensely. I hope he does well there and I hope we regenerate our old rivalry. It shouldn’t take much effort.
But, to be honest, I feel better facing a Dykes Frog program than a Patterson program. Patterson played defense.
