This looks like cashing out the renewal in advance to fund the ops building. TDECU gets the naming rights extension at a fairly modest increase and we get the money for the ops building. It is a win win. 10 years ago we had never heard of TDECU now they seem to be everywhere in the region, and they give a lot of swag away at games they are a great partner.

What I have been saying for awhile is that we should expand the suites, add lodge boxes and make better use of our concourse space. I hope with this we will do the media boxes to the upper north and utilize the current space for more suites.

I don’t want to block the view from the concourse for those not in the loge boxes. As for the suites, until there was a demand there was no reason to install more.
Restroom and at the minimum permanent built in beverage concession stands on the upper decks. There is already shell space on the upper deck above press box for restrooms just need to build out

One thing we prob need is an elevator to that side high up. I’m good with walking up if I had to but others. My seats are great at the lower bowl up against a wall with no one behind us. Just saying eventually maybe an escalator to the top deck.

My main thought is lodge boxes on upper west concourse and adding vendors on both EZ concourses.
Of course the obvious RR and food options on the top. It seems like we may be getting the AC in restrooms and more options of cooling off around the stadium.

They could turn two of the large stairwells on the home side into escalators and then leave the other two as stairs.
Need a third elevator at the northwest corner of the stadium.

The AD says there is demand for premium seating now.
I would have loved the deal to be at least 25$ million with 16-17 million dollars in cash towards the Ops building. But, this is not bad.
Remember though, I would think that there is the possibility of obtaining a separate naming rights deal for the Ops building.
We can’t do that because then we would owe Pitt a bunch of money.

I have so many ideas. Some are simple like add transportation from lots to the gates. The bigger ones will be tougher like bring the UT system crumbling to the ground.
