And most of those wins have been with their 2nd or 3rd string QBs…
Hell, Alan Bowman threw a record 605 yards (as a Freshman) against the D’Onofrio defense under Applewhite back in 2018 up in Lubbock.
I hope we don’t see something similar play out if TxTech ends up lining up the QB that took over for Morton today.

Texas Tech backup QB Will Hammond was 13-16, 169 yds, 2 TDs, rushed 8 times for 61 yds, including a 32 yarder against Utah yesterday. Hammond looked better than their starting QB Behren Morton, who was hurt in the third quarter? Hammond looks legit, a dual threat.

I sincerely hope it is Coogs dominating crowd and I think it will be. Two years ago against Texas, I was pleasantly surprised to see lot more Coogs then Longhorns in the crowd.

Oregon State isnt a Conference Game
We should win it easily but it has no affect on the Big 12 Conference Standings.
Im thinking only one Big 12 school gets into the playoff…the Conference Champion

If we can’t beat Oregon state, then we have no business talking about conference championships
I’d bet everything the Coogs will be ranked after a road game across the country, the ole BCS rankings used to put value in winning roadies

If would require some upsets in the Big 12 for UH to be ranked on top of pummeling Oregon State

The polls behave in very predictable ways. A team that’s not even receiving votes has zero shot to get ranked after beating any team that isn’t ranked. We could beat Oregon St by 50, it wouldn’t matter.
